MoYu is kinda weird

Cubing brands are strange. They make their cubes sound like they're gonna fly to space. I went on Google translate and found out Weilong directly translates to "Power Dragon".
Yiheng Wang can't get enough of his Super Power Dragons, can he.
It's probably from the difficulty of translating from Mandarin or other Asian languages to English or similar languages

I'm Chinese ethnicity, so I'll explain this
Chinese uses tones, and when translating to English, they get removed.
for example, the long in WeiLong can translate to dragon, deaf, an onomatopoeia for loud noises, or for when a business is popular (roughly.) which, MoYu probably intended for it to be dragon, but there are multiple meanings because of tones, so using Google translate for translating toneless Chinese pinyin into English can be unreliable (pinyin is using the english alphabet to roughly transcribe the phonetics of Chinese characters with letters)
(sorry if this was kind of confusing, i'm not completely fluent in Chinese since I was born in the US)

What's wrong with power dragon? Can you come up with a better name? GAN names it after iphones
Ahh iphones, another weird product
them iphones-makers don't know how to count. straight from 8 to 10?? what happened to 9? maybe thats why they've got a half-eaten apple in their logo...
but apples are better. atleast they dont release 5 versions of the same thing at different price points "for the elite", like moyu.
ok ima stop

I remember once I had removed tones in East Asian languages once being being compared to me like English but with only one vowel.

Microsoft: 1.0 2.0 3.0 3.1 95 98 ME 2000 XP Vista 7 8 8.1 10 11

And they keep somehow getting worse from 7 onwards

I wish google translate could actually translate tones. Instead us non-Chinese speakers have to just guess or ask someone Chinese.

I think it would be best if manufacturers picked official English translations for all their cubes, like the X-Man Tornado, Ambition, Rainbow, Shadow, and Spark. There might be multiple meanings that get lost in translation, but I think it's clearer to have one official name. Like when Shengshou started using the Sengso brand, it just caused confusion. Alphanumeric names like RS3 M V5 are fine I guess. But we're really missing out on all the bird-themed fun with DaYan cube names like ZhanChi, TengYun, and GuHong.

My theory is that it's a (of course poorly translated) wording of "little kid is god"??
I would guess the against heaven part is 革命 meaning revolutionary, but originally meaning to withdraw the Mandate of Heaven (and transition to a new dynasty). So Wang Yiheng is a revolutionary boy.

Also third-order just refers to 3x3.
