Because people have preferences over certain algs, and it may not be as optimal as you believe it to be

The normal alg has the same start but ends with R U R’ U’ R U R’ which is way better to spam, is 2qtm more efficient, and avoids the weird regrip/rolled R. Maybe I’m missing something but why would you think your alg is faster?
