Non-Cubers say the darndest things!

I once was having a conversation with a non-cuber who kept saying that you could just make/buy a cube that can solve itself, and use it in comp. When you did your attempt, you could just magically wave your hands around the cube so fast no one could see it solving itself, And then if the cube made any noise, you could pretend to sneeze. As if no one would OBVIOUSLY see this.

Also when they say they solved a side just because the white is matching, but the side colors aren't.

I meant that they think they can move on to middle layer, but the first layer still isn't solved.

That's one of my systems.
Do 8 yellows - leave 1 corner
Use the keyhole to do the middle edges with a 3 move alg x 4
Use 0 or 1 of 5 algs for 4th yellow corner.

I was cubing at school today and really just spamming algs, but this dude comes over, and practically pins me to the wall, and says I can do it without looking(I can't). And then he says "look up and tell me when you think it's solved", so I do 2 Y-perms, and then he calls me a HACKER.

Today at school my friend was watching me solve a cube in class and he had the idea that I was using the same scramble every time, so I showed him three different solves and he said "oh, so you just practice the same three scrambles?" mf that's not how it works

I read that as "Roblox Cube"

I once saw someone spell it "Roubixk Cube" lol

by far more common and worse is rubix because you're SO CLOSE but that last letter ruins it all, this is how I know you're a noncuber if you say that

I was cubing before class one day and someone asked me "Do you know PLL?"
Thought I found another cuber in class but turns out he hadn't cubed in years. I can't express how sad/disappointed I was.

I usual get the "I can solve a side" thing a lot.
