What does your cubing station look like?

don't worry, my usual procedures for cube care happen often and i take great pride in my maintenance and cleaning.

@1x1 wr holder! can confirm the validity of the above legal statements.
Yeah, his cubes are setup really well. He has a more of a gummy and heavy style, but the puzzles move well and are just so satisfying to use. Also, @Bingus Ringus McDingus, is this a recent photo? I thought you traded your yuhu

Setup update: Almost 6 months since the first one, good bit of change to my setup since then, although many elements are the same.

Notable Changes:
  • Luke Garrett Signed Mat
  • Black Shelf to the right(ft. Dug Funko pop)
  • Anders Mod On Clock
  • Custom Shoebox beneath desk that stores accessories and cubes that I basically never use.
  • You can actually see my lanyards in the new one lol
  • Keyboard
  • Laptop change
  • Perler thingies I made at the top(Rip for my boy Ludicolo, he was too heavy and fell down, used to be in the blank spot that is there now 💀 )
Top row is now mains 2-6, color scheme pattern of the desk is still the same, green/orange top, red left, blue right, skewb/oh mains on the left, budget and backup 2x2s next to it. Lube on top left, cube cover and cool cube cards underneath on the bottom left. Right has squan main and 7x7 in 3x3 box I made at the top, mega main, backup, and kilominx underneath, backup skewb, some 3x3s, and Pyra main and backup on the bottom right. I found that the blue stress thing on the left is good to clean smaller particles off of hands and get better grip during solves.
So I made some minor changes since the last one and decided to make it as clean and neat as possible(I guess it makes up for the fact that I am not an organized person at all):

Like my last post, here is a list of the significant differences from my old setup:
  • Each cubby on the desk is now specific to an individual event rather than general storage. I personally like this change a lot as it reduces the amount of cubes on the desk by a lot and consists of mainly only ones that I will use regularly.
  • Pokemon posters that I have had for at least a year and moved down from my room to be over my desk. This is mainly because I think they fit well here and the perlers in my previous setup kept falling off.
  • Side shelf now holds mostly backups rather than random cubes
  • Different box below to hold accessories and cubes that I use a lot less(non-mag YLM, Rubik's brands, ghost cube, etc.) as well as my cube cover and earmuffs for comp sims. The main reason the box itself is different is a change that I decided to make last night after finding 3 roaches running around the room that this is in and decided that a cardboard box may not be the best idea, as well as simply being a larger box for more storage.
  • More laptop stickers and lanyards
I haven't done this before but I'll give a list of what each cube is and the place it is in below(in a spoiler so this post is not painfully long to those who don't want to read it)

Top Row(Left to Right):
These are my mains for Clock, 2-6, as well as an OS cube bc it looks nice on display.
- Anders Mod Qiyi
- Gan 251 Pro
- RS3V5 BC
- Vin 4
- Hong 5
- AoShi 6
- QiYi OS Cube
Cubbies On The Sides:
- Lube and setup tools in the top left
- Maglev MGC sq-1 in the middle left
- Gan Skewb in the bottom left
- Primary DS FTO in the top right
- Dayan Mega Pro LM in the middle right
- Bell V2 Pyra in the bottom right
Side Shelf:
- 11 M Pro
- Guhong Pro 54mm
- TV3 Flagship
- Wingy V2
- 562
- Zhisu Mini
- RS3M 2020
- Gan iCarry
-Tengyun Plus
- Black DS FTO
- Pro Mega
- Picube V9

Overall I like this more than my previous one as it means that there is less stuff on my desk which means I have more room to do homework(which I will have a lot of as I start HS tomorrow and have 4 APs in my Freshman year) and it just looks cleaner overall. Thanks for reading this really long post, I felt like making an update as I made some small changes and I think it looks really good.

Why does everyone have way more cubes than me 😭
were crazier than you

I’m very crazy for cubing too, to the part my parents say, “We might have to put a time limit for you”
But if I ask them if I can get cooobs, they say “you have a lot, you’re being greedy” (16 cubes)
Lol My parents never buy me cubes that I ask for so I have definatly spent at least £200 on my mains and backups. However, because birthdays and christmas exist, i have 37 cubes

The same thing for me, I have almost 50 cubes, and I bought almost every one of them, and from birthday and Christmas I think I got like just 6-8 cubes

Huge bump, but I have massive setup updates coming, I bought a loft bed and it has the desk built in under it. It looks super dope and is actually bigger than my previous desk.
this is what it looks like View attachment 36114
A few months isn’t a huge bump. Try 12 years.
Also can’t wait for the setup video! You should do it where you build the setup, like how souptimmy and rekrap did for their vids.
