[NR] Leonardo Selva San Marino 3x3 NR (23.22 single & 38.91 AVG)

[SpeakCuba]

Let’s all become San Marino residents . Nevertheless, congrats to Leonardo for the NR!

[bldcuber314]

First and only San Marino competitor even though it's San Marino Nationals, also NR1 and CR35187. But hey, if you're the fastest in your country it's NR all the same! We have the unusual situation where in Nationals, nobody from that country podiumed so there was not a single championship podium.

oh my god very insane 1:02???? very god

[TheSilverBeluga]

This is the first NR for San Marino in the history of the WCA. This made me curious how many countries still do not have an NR, and the answer was more than I expected.

The San Marino nationals have been happening for like 5 years now, and yet this is the first competitor from San Marino. Cool.

No way! Is it the only country where they have held comps but have no competitors?

It was. Which isn't all that surprising. People from other countries would need to be able to get to the country, and every other country on the list is either an island nation, is North Korea, or is in Africa, which already only has competitions in only 10 countries or so.

Edit: I forgot about Timor-Leste. It's an outlier, but my point still mostly stands

[abunickabhi]

Good to see some cubing action from San Marino!

[cubenerd74]

is North Korea

Idk why this is so funny to me, but it is.

Kim is going to say that Rubik's cubes are western culture, someting he doesn't want in the DPRK.
