The RUD V-perm on a 2x2 includes a rotation because of the parallel U and D moves. R' U R' U' R D' R' D R' y R2 U' R2 D R2

This algorithm "changes" on the 2x2. Are there any other examples of algorithms that "change" or feel really different on other puzzles?

some domino pll work on 3x3

some of them work on square 1 too, I remember swapping two corners using a pll that I learn that I found to be a domino pll afterwards

some 3x3 pll work on megaminx and some algs just do something entirely different because each side is a pentagon and not a square

also for megaminx vs 3x3 the U2 can be clockwise or not, so some simple algs like sune can have different variations

for pyraminx and skewb, sledge hammer and sexy move can lead to different combinations and effects

for big cubes, a niklas on a slice actually cycles 3 center pieces

when I'm trying a new puzzle I like to see what effect a simple trigger like sexy move, sledge hammer, nilklas and sune do and try some combinations then I continue from what I learnt

By this logic, my favorite Na and Nb perms are:
(R2 U' R2' U D R2 D' R2) U2 (R2 U' R2' U D R2 D' R2)
and
(Rw2 U' Rw2' U D Rw2 D' Rw2) U2 (Rw2 U' Rw2' U D Rw2 D' Rw2).
These should work on both SQ1 and 3x3.

The M2 U M U2 M' U M2 all for Uperm does not work on megaminx
Idrk know why cause it's "totally" possible to do M2 moves on a megaminx
Because that thing is a setup to M U2 M' U2, which is a 3-cycle commutator on a 3×3×3. U2 swaps two edges in the M slice, and the M/M' moves change which edges are being swapped the second time you do a U2.

There's no way to modify this to work on a megaminx without making it much longer.

Unless…

Okay yeah that looks uninteresting, never mind.
