[ER] 0.83 Pyraminx Single by Netanel Pour

[baseballjello67]

Congrats! WR3

[OtaMota]

Congrats Netanel for the first 0.8. I should mention that based on precedents from other sports, Israel is part of Europe in the WCA, even though it's geographic location is in Asia. It would still be a CR anyway though.

Lets go! Israel Represent! I cant wait to see the solution

It was an 8 mover

[OtaMota]

ER? Wouldn't Israel be in Asia?

Geographicly it would. The WCA lists it as ER because of precedents from other sports.

[Discomantis]

ER? Wouldn't Israel be in Asia?

Israel competes in the olympics as a European country, and since the WCA is trying to be recognized as an olympic sport, it considers israel in the european region

Some other sports also do this, so it becomes even more important in terms of being an olympic sport

[TheSilverBeluga]

Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Cyprus are also all in Europe in the WCA despite being in or mostly in Asia, geographically. For the same reason as Israel, I assume. The line between Europe and Asia gets kind of murky, to be honest.

IDK " There is no info about the removal yet"

[OtaMota]

I have heard rumors it has something to do with a timer start/stop

[OtaMota]

[OtaMota]

Probably a +2

[2x2MasterYT]

I have heard rumors it has something to do with a timer start/stop

I just looked at WCA, the solve was +2ed. I was speculating that is was an illegal timer stop/start

[An Animating Cuber]

Not sure its the right decision cause its hard to see in the original video but it's clearly visible in frame by frame analysis:
