It looks like it could be the Hong but there's no logo so idk.@caleb_g Here's a video of the solve.
It's a darker green though

Thanks for editing my post! (If that was you)Woah, congrats Max, wild.
Max posted a 28.8s solve he caught on cam a while agoLET's GO! sub 32 looking possible?
mine as well bruh hahaand my PB is 2:13![]()
Anybody know what cube he used?
kinda makes sense, it does have core-corner magnets and newer mech/size...QiYi said he used the Hong
Hey, the spark is really good if you compress the springs (thanks @xyzzy !!!)kinda makes sense, it does have core-corner magnets and newer mech/size...
first the TV3 and now the HONG
. . .just saying, now it's time for Qiyi to come out with some new better 6x6 and 7x7 cubes as well![]()
My personal best is like 1:04. He solved 2x faster than me.mine as well bruh haha![]()
Same!My personal best is like 1:04. He solved 2x faster than me.
yes, a few years ago both of mine got that mod I mentioned to you a while backHey, the spark is really good if you compress the springs (thanks @xyzzy !!!)
I compressed my Valk 5 springs, and I did it a little too far, so I need to uncompress them again.yes, a few years ago both of mine got that mod I mentioned to you a while back
otherwise it's basically absurd how slow it is (for $60 haha)
but
Qiyi/Xman can and should do us better with some new (and smaller) mech
[edit:] I have heard of a similar mod working great for the Valk 5
. . . . .
I swapped Valk 3M springs into my MGC 5 and that actually made it much faster and more fluent at tighter tensions!booyah!
How does compressing springs work?I compressed my Valk 5 springs, and I did it a little too far, so I need to uncompress them again.
5 times faster than me...My personal best is like 1:04. He solved 2x faster than me.
It's kinda weird. Basically, when you unscrew the screw and take the spring out, it's a certain size and strength. If you take it and push down to compress it, and hold it long enough, it becomes smaller. This small size allows the cube to be fast on tighter tensions. It's extremely helpful on slow big cubes (like the Valk 5 and the Spark). How does compressing springs work?
Okay. I was thinking of doing it to the aofu, since it kinda feels a little slow on tighter tensions. It's kinda weird.
