three words actually lol. And I'm not describing myself, I was describing you. your thread was quite profound, and you always throw in a joke or something random.

I guess it could apply to both of us.

Great minds think alike!!!

[Arcanist]

Rigged, completely rigged. How was I not the member of the year. how was I not the funniest member. Do I win anything.

Are you being serious or making a joke?

[1x1 wr holder!]

Are you being serious or making a joke?

that, my friend, was a mood swing.
yeah I'm joking. just couldn't believe that I got landslided by prostar and animatingcuber lol.

geez, you love to critique my posts don'tcha. (no shade lol, just an observation! Good to know that someone's always watching me lol)

[abunickabhi]

Yoo
Did i even pay attention to this. I didn’t even think I would be nominated. I owe it all to my friends @Bingus Ringus McDingus and @fes_77 I wouldn’t be here without you guys

[Davian]

Who will host next year?

[Bingus Ringus McDingus]

Who will host next year?

I will do the honors.

Can we please, for next year, return to the older system. Lots of categories, don't need to vote for them all, and vote by posting in the thread with your nominees

I agree. Also would like it to start later in the year, don't know why we voted in November. There could be a very funny thread from now to Jan 2024, and it would not have been considered for 2023 awards.

These are unofficial but here is my version of the forum awards:

Spoiler: Best customization.

Personally I would give this to @Cubinginatree.
He has kept his pfp, signature, and banner pretty consistent and I like how his name, signature, pfp, and banner all share a similar theme

Spoiler: Best forum competition.

For this one I really enjoyed how @Discomantis ran his comp and it was pretty organized.
Honorable mention to @1x1 wr holder! and his comp.

Spoiler: Best progression thread.

I would give this to @AJT17. He is pretty consistent with his updates and has also started a daily ao200 series. I have really enjoyed seeing his consistent grinding of OH.

Spoiler: Most dedicated.

@gruuby definitely deserves this for his grinding of the 7x7 ao1000 in which he has already done 600+ solves.
Honorable mentions are @AJT17 and @gsingh

Spoiler: Best return from hiatus.

I think this one is a tie between @cuberswoop and @NmeCuber. They both returned after a hiatus and after that have also been fairly actively.
Honorable mention to @Filipe Teixeira , but he hasn't been that active after a few brief posts.

Spoiler: Most helpful member.

This is really hard to give to just one member so instead I'll just mention some people who provided advice for me.
First of all obviously @Mike Hughey and @pjk run the site and that takes a lot of effort so they should definitely be part of this.
For people that have helped me that includes @Enirolf for pyra advice, @NmeCuber for sq1 advice, @IsThatA4x4 for sq1 advice, @AJT17 for oh advice, @Jorian Meeuse for f2l adviace, and @SpeakCuba for sq1 advice. (I am probably missing a few people here)
Honorable mentions include @Dan the Beginner and his review on the Guhong pro and some of the reviews by @TheSpeedSkewber.
Also @Davian for doing the forum awards this year.

Spoiler: Most helpful thread.

This goes to @gsingh and his thread about a series of video guides to get faster. Find it here.
I haven't used it very much since I've been focusing on pyra but the few videos I did watch were very helpful and I realized many optimizations and finger tricks that I should have been using in my solves that I previously weren't

Spoiler: Most impressive forum achievement.

While I'm not sure if this is a good thing, this goes to @JDAW6 and his 3000+ messages in 8 and 1/2 months.

Spoiler: Best off-topic thread.

I really had a great time reading @Clock_Enthusiast and his thread about clock musings.

I'll make another post with more if I think of anything else and if you weren't on here you may be on my favorite members list.
Hope you all enjoyed the list!

Just saw this--I'm very happy that you enjoy Clock Musings! I'll have to post more soon!

If I’m still active at the time, I wouldn’t be opposed to running the forum awards. I did it with Ben in 2020(?) and assisted in I believe 2021
