Doing a presentation about SpeedCubing

i thought it was a class thing.
maybe you can call people up to do some algoritms on the cube
Nice idea. You could tell somenone (his or her eyes closed) to do 180° up-face, 180° down-face, 180° left-face, 180° right-face, 180° front-face, 180° backdown-face: he or she would have done the checkerboard blind!

Good luck - and be a star!

The one time I have had an opportunity to do something like that I solved a few twisty puzzles, I then talked about cubing competitions, I then did a walkthrough solve on a giant cube, at the end I asked for someone who knew how to solve a cube to come up and solve the cube under the bucket, unfortunately for him though, I had removed the core!

Okay, the presentation went pretty well. I had some kids scramble the cubes for me and watch how fast I could solve them, and they were really impressed. Then I let them play with the cubes, and they went crazy. I told them that they shouldn't twist corners, and they listened to me, which is good. A few kids were pretty interested in cubing, so I taught them how to use a timer and what lube was.

Overall they were amazed by the cubes and enjoyed playing with them, but they were a little bit too young and I don't think they'll end up competing. I still introduced them all to cubing though, and they liked it!

fantastic! how long did the presentation last, and what direction did you take it in? a more informative route or the more q and a route? great job bro, more cubers = a better world!
