how should i approach wizard magic? (aka 3blind)

i wanna try and learn wizard magic (3blind) and i don't know how to approach it, im using jperm's tutorial on old pochmann, and its alot of info, should i just learn the set up moves bit by bit and practice them then get into the wizard magicing?

What i did was that i did some sighted solves first to see how i would do the setup moves and memorized the way I did it
