Declaration of Unified Profile Picture Movement on the Speedsolving Forum

Is it appropriate to assume that the majestic Duck Clan has views parallel to mine? If so, that would make quite the intimidating opposition to Mr. Prostar and his Sales and Foreclosure Resources.
Bro, you don't even have a pfp, at least just put a horribly zoomed in photo of yourself or a cube or something, I spent literally two minutes taking this photo and uploading it

Sorry, I fail to see how much benefit this proposed change has over the existing profile pictures.

I would suggest that there are other more worthwhile or practical changes/improvements that should be given attention. For example, I suggested some time ago that searches on this forum should allow use of keywords shorter than 4 letters. I could not find anything meaningful if at all, when I searched for Moyu UV WRM V9, MGC EVO II, QY M Pro, or Gan 12 UI, or Gan 14.

Dear @Dan the Beginner ,

Thank you for voicing your thoughts. Feedback like yours is crucial in ensuring that we move in a direction that genuinely benefits our community.

We envisioned the unified profile picture as a symbol of our shared passion and camaraderie. However, we also understand that the practicality and direct benefits of such a change might not be immediately evident to all.

If you have suggestions for other improvements or changes that you believe would be more beneficial, we are all ears. Our ultimate goal is the betterment and progress of our community, and we're open to pivoting our efforts towards areas with more immediate and tangible benefits.

Looking forward to your insights and suggestions.

Warm regards,
The Members of the Speedsolving Forum Revolution

Announcement to the Speedsolving Forum Community

Dear Members,

We're excited to share a significant development in our ongoing movement towards unity. The moderators of our beloved forum have graciously changed the logo to align with our unified profile picture. This not only showcases their support but further cements our collective dedication to the cause.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the moderators for this gesture. It's a testament to the collaborative spirit of this community and our shared vision for its future. Such changes might seem small on the surface, but they hold immense symbolic value, echoing the ethos of our movement.

Let's continue to move forward, supporting one another and cherishing the rich tapestry of our shared and individual experiences.

Thank you, moderators, and thank you, community, for being the heartbeat of this forum.

In Unity We Solve,
The Members of the Speedsolving Forum Revolution

The moderators are so aligned with this that we changed our logo to match the unified profile picture over a decade before the unified profile picture was even thought of. Amazing alignment of thought.

LOL.

Truly you are the true pioneers. We recognize our place as naught but humble messengers, trumpeting the movement you have been silently encouraging for all these years. We, the members of the Speedsolving Forum Revolution, salute you, and hope to further your endeavors to unify this beautiful community.

To the esteemed members of the Speedsolving Rubik’s Cube Forum,

Today marks a momentous call for unity within our cherished community. It has come to our collective realization that the multitude of diverse profile pictures has fragmented our identity and weakened our shared bond. Like the precise and systematic approach we take in solving cubes, our representation should echo a unified message.

Therefore, we announce the commencement of the Unified Profile Picture Movement!

We urge each member:

1. To adopt a singular, representative profile picture that signifies our collective dedication to speedsolving.
2. To recognize the strength in uniformity and the message it sends to newcomers and the world.
3. To champion the idea that while our methods and techniques may differ, our shared passion is singular and should be projected as one.

Let us move away from the chaos of countless avatars, stepping into a more structured, recognized, and cohesive community identity. Let our unified profile reflect the discipline, consistency, and unity we practice in our speedsolving journey.

Embrace the Unified Profile Picture Movement. Stand united, be proud, and amplify our collective passion.

Together in Unity and Purpose,
The Advocates of the Speedsolving Forum Unity Movement.

TLDR

The Speedsolving Forum Revolution aims to unite our community under a shared identity. We now have a profile picture representing this unity, attached to this post. While not perfect, it embodies our collective spirit and purpose. Together, we'll strengthen our bond and champion our shared passion.
I didn't know April Fool's day came early.

As if it wasn't bad enough that free speech no longer exists and people go to jail for throwing basic insults at other people now.
To attack free speech & freedom of expression on a cubing forum that has no real effect on the world anyway.
The original post is either a HUGE joke, or the dumbest & most ridiculous idea ever posted on here.
Either that, or the user is a wannabe part of the new-world-order that seeks to eliminate human identity and make everyone just a nameless slave.

Dear @efattah ,

Thank you for sharing your perspective. We understand that the concept of a unified profile picture might stir strong emotions, and we respect your right to express your views. Our intention behind this movement was never to suppress individuality or freedom of expression, but rather to symbolize our shared passion and unity within the community.

We assure you that the idea was proposed in the spirit of camaraderie and is by no means an attempt to align with any external agendas. Our community thrives on the diversity of its members and their freedom to express themselves.

Your feedback is essential, and we appreciate the dialogue. We're here to listen, adapt, and ensure that any changes reflect the collective desires of our community.

Warm regards,
The Members of the Speedsolving Forum Revolution
