[Help Thread] What cube do you recommend me to get for my bday!

my birthday is in 23 days! and i want to get a cube for my birthday, i want to get a gan12 ui freeplay, but i dont know if its worth it, it looks like the best bluetooth cube i could find, but how is the customization? and should i just get a normal gan 12 or a gan 13/14, and if there a cube with better customization then gan 12-14, or a better bluetooth cube then gan12 ui freeplay then what are they? (i think if i get gan12 ui freeplay then i'll split the cost a bit with my dad and mum)

If you want a GAN cube get the 12 for sure, otherwise, wrm v9, ys3m, and tv 3 are the way to go

honestly I think you should get some non 3x3, maybe get a big cube like 10x10+ or maybe a gigaminx or some non wca puzzles

i can barely solve a 4x4 im not trying to have a headache /hj

one thing I always think about when getting cubes for a b-day is if I should get one really nice flagship or a bunch of great budget cubes. also consider getting some mystery cubes if you really don't know what you want (probably one of the coolest experiences is opening up a mystery puzzle).

from what I saw a youtube video on every GAN from 11 M pro to the GAN 14 Maglev that from 1st to 4th was the 11 M pro then the 13 M then the 12 M and sadly last was the 14 M Maglev ( not saying that non of these cubes a bad but I'm saying from what a youtube video said that out the box it was in that order.

Wait the 11 is the best? Hooray. I bought the 11 when it came out because I thought there was the greatest gap in innovation between the XS and 11 than other flagships. Then I heard about the 12 which had the auto turning thing and I was sad, and with the 13 even sadder but now I’m happy. Weird cringey sentence but I think you get the jdea

I recommend buying multiple cubes. If you are sub-10, yeah, the UI is good, but I recommend getting the GAN i Carry if you don't need a gyro or a GAN i3 if you do. If you then have a GAN i Carry, you still have a chunk of change to get a cube such as the TV3 ball-core or even a GAN 11 M Pro in frosted plastic, all for the same amount of money as a Freeplay (about 93 pounds, 115 USD)

Please don't get a 12 ui unless you're sub-10. It won't make you any better than a 25 £ GAN i Carry. Save your money. Buy a GAN i Carry and a YS3M Ballcore.

I fully expect to be called out on this but I think that the MoYu RS3Ms are REALLy good for their price.
Or if you're a collector, you could go for some non-WCA cubes; think 3x3x5, master pyra, gear cube, etc.
Oh and the GAN mosaics are pretty cool as well.
