PiCube WRM V9 at TC
Wow $44 isn’t really that bad for you guys I guess, I got mine with premium setup and express shipping for $33 tho including a free stickerless WRM 2019
Probably the reason why picube price listed on the local online market has doubled...
I feel like the Pi Cube English site is kinda forced by TC and SCS to price cubes that high where most of the cubes listing there are just at the same price as TC and SCS but they pretty much never go higher than TC or SCS. This kinda force them to price their mods even higher on their international site. Imo if TC & SCS are just pricing cubes at like less than a double or just a double of the cost, it’s still less problematic as they do have some other costs induced. However most of the time they are pricing cubes at like at least double to triple or even more which isn’t really making any sense to me at all imo. It’s really a problem for them to charge cubes unreasonably high as it’s really affecting many cubers no matter if you’re getting cubes from them. They are kinda setting the “standard price” for foreign cubers which kinda force other sellers to follow such insane price discrimination outside Asia.

Picube dropped the cube price yesterday, back to original. Maybe feeling the heat from cubers comments?
I snagged the ballcore kit for my standard V9

No idea what these are

It's illegal in most western countries. The Anti Trust or Sherman Act clearly states what is not on, when price fixing, even vertical price fixing between foreign manufacturers and local retailers that can result in anti-competitive or consumer hurting results, is a crime and circumstantial evidence is admissible as evidence. Are there lawyers here who can confirm this?

MSRP do exist here as well but the problem here is that they just price cubes at the price ceiling where the cost is usually like half of the price floor, so their prices usually end up being around triple the original cost

Pi Cube Premium Ball Core Valk 5 M
These are now on their international site.
Will they sell the cores as a kit or only with the cubes?
Next time you talk to them, will you ask if they plan on putting the ball core kits for these cubes on their English site? I'd buy the Dayan mega, Aosu 4x4, and MGC 5x5 kits right now if I knew Chinese.
Okie

Nice!
I hope they'll add the other core magnet kits, too, for the megaminxes, pyraminxes, and skewbs that they're selling with core magnets. Plenty of people already have the puzzles, so we only need the magnet kits for them.
For pyraminx, I heard that those are just too strong so I just didn't bother to get it
For skewb, I got a core magnet kit for my moyu weilong and I almost want to main it over my UV GAN Skewb. It fix the problem of being unstable. Also to make it turn faster to balance out the core magnets, I installed weaker moyu maglev rings from my V9. Also UV coated it and I am considering to main it over the GAN mainly because of the size. with the core magnets installed, it performs pretty much as good as the GAN but smaller.
For megaminx, I got a premium setup dayan mega with core magnets and I think its a lot more stable than the original dayan while remaining a nice speed. Pi Cube told me that they actually drill holes to make the core magnetic YuHu possible, so I don't think it is possible for them to make a core magnet kit for the YuHu. Also the core magnet kit for dayan mega here is actually almost the same price as the core magnetic YuHu and I think premium setup dayan mega with core magnets is a lot more worth it overall especially if you do megaminx a lot.
For 5x5, I haven't installed it into my AoChuang yet but I heard that it really benefits from core magnets due to its flexibility and I really have high hope for this one.
For 4x4, I only like the zhilong mini 4x4 but they dont have ball core for it 🥲

These are now on their international site.

Okie

Use discount code "ruihang" at checkout for 40% off, then it's only $18.
Bought the 4x4 kit and 5x5 kit and they totaled $45 (with the priciest shipping to the US.) A bit pricey when I could have gotten the PiCube WRM V9 and another cube for that much, but I think it's worth supporting this kind of development.
