before I just shoot some into an opening? Are there any melting problems that will mean I need to take it apart, spray-dry-wipe method? I killed my Eastsheen shooting it in but my Rubiks 4x4 and 5x5 have been fine so I am inclined to think it is okay.

Thanks for your input.

I searched for this but nobody mentioned which method they used to lubricate.

If you look inside you will see that melting occured and in mine it looked like some plastic got scraped away, but like when I was working it in so it really doesn't do any damage. It's mainly from the plastic getting soft and then you working it in and the pieces rubbing against each other. It could actually be a good thing if a piece isn't completely smooth and has a bump. This way it will make a groove in the plastic to make it move easier or even scrape away the bump.
