I was looking through my screenshots and on the 2nd of october 2021 my ao1000 was 9.98, so a little less than 2 years if you start counting from when I actually started practicing
Kinda sad that I have only improved 1 second since then (maybe a little more, I'm getting more and more 8.5 averages)

Super long overdue 3BLD PB single: 16.76!
My previous pb was a 17.69, which was my first sub 20 ever (lol), so this is almost a second faster.

I just tied my 3BLD PB single to the 3rd decimal with another 16.766 lol
(PB2 is still 17.69)
The two solves after it were nothing special (a 21 and a 22) but it was still enough for a 20.15 mean, which I believe is a PB. Sub 20 mean soon!

Wow I just got a 18.43 on 10 algs! That would be the equivalent of a 14.74 on 8 algs, and even a 12.90 on 7 algs! Imagine if I get a lucky scramble like that...

Yeah I'm globally sub NR mean but I suck at doing well in comp so I'm gonna try not to care too much

16.12 3BLD single!!!
This was my first ever 7 algs scramble, and I've never been trembling harder in my life during a 3BLD solve. Could have been sub 16 easily. This gave me a 20.08 mean too.
I'll put the reconstruction later.
Funny statistic: I now have 3 16s, but only 1 17.

Yeah but that can still mean multiple things.

My official ranking for single is like 210th but my PR sucks. I don't have an official mean yet so based on that I'm as bad as one can be. This 16.12 single would put me 14th in the world for single if it were to be official, and a 20.08 mean would put me 25th. My global average as a mean would put me around 40th-50th.

Next Saturday will be my next competition, with 2x2, 4x4, 7x7, pyra, skewb, 3BLD. For 7x7 I just hope to make cutoff (4:30). For 4x4, pyra and skewb I really don't care what happens. For 2x2 a sub 2 average would be nice but I'll probably have to revise my EG algs. For 3BLD it shouldn't be very hard to get NR mean (22.90), but judging from my past official 3BLD experiences I might as well not even get a sub 22.90 single. I'm just going to hope I won't get nervous, then I should be good to go.

Good luck with that! Make sure to have good edges and center, and focus on lookahead.
