not like that. like i feel sorry for him
I hope he gets successful as he grows up and find joy in cubing.
he is very talented and an innocent child, he deserves the best.

have you seen the video he solves f2l-1 blindfolded?

I grinded 3x3 and 4x4 today.

I got some fast ao5s on 3x3 but overall average was trash

4x4 I'm still getting used to yau but I'm very inconsistent. My problem is basically everything

I did some splits today on cstimer but I ragequit

tomorrow I'll try to do some like 10 solves with splits and I'll post the results here so you can help me out

my next objectives are

3x3
finish L coll
finish wv except for 4 corners
finish magic wondeful
practice cross+1
grind lots solves to get a sub16 ao50 and sub15 ao12
start learning 2gll

4x4
do the splits to know what I'm doing wrong
do deliberate practice so I can get better at each step of yau
learn poll and ppll (jperm video + jperm trainer)

I was analysing my times on cubedesk and here are some interesting statistics:

1683570190903.png

Best worst solve in a rolling avg25: 20.14

mo3 of fastest singles: 12.20
ao5 of fastest singles: 12.40

Of my 344 solves, I have only 3 over 20 seconds rolling averages of 12

20,11
20,24
20,30

Ok so I know most of coll but some cases are annoying like L, sune and anti sune

So I thought of learning a type of 1 look, 2 steps cll thing

I will learn recognition for the cases I didn't learn yet and learn which corners are swapped. If it's adj I do niklas, if it's opp I do fruruf and then solve the case with pure cll or coll and then ell

Then I'll just have to recognize and if it's a case I don't know the coll for, i will just do the cp/co combination without pauses

I'll do this for fun, and then I'll publish a document with the best combinations I found
This might be a bit more slipshod than you're trying for, but...
➡️once you get to LL, as you look at it if you don't recognize or don't know the OLL for the case then a sexy+sledge will give you a new shape on top, hopefully one you do know... one can also recognize where yellow stickers are on the sides and do AUF to place corners/edges where they would be more beneficial before executing the sexy+sledge
...this seems related to what you call "hyper~orientation"

I mainly solve using the Roux method but I wound up learning many OLLs and PLLs before I realized that CMLL is a whole different alg set and *maybe* half of the algs I knew were part of it haha
so a lot of the time I am mostly using OLL to get corners up and then PLL for permutation before I go into LSE 😜
➡️ the sexy+sledge trick has been quite helpful, as I only know about half of OLL... accordingly, it can be helpful at times to do a fat sexy+fat sledge

also, there are many OLLs that share common elementa of shape so I often do an OLL that I know based on shape similarity because it will still resolve the LL suffieicent for me to go on into Last Six Edges to finish the solve
➡️Ex: the T case OLL with yellow headlights at the back (doubly helpful as this is often the OLL one gets after doing the OLL parity alg.on 4×4)
or a Fat Sune even though the full "chair" or lightning bolt is not filled out on left on the LL, that alg still resolves the top enough to carry through for me

yeah but I know full OLL, I just have to learn the L coll cases and maybe sune and antisune but just for meme reasons

Right on, good on ya, think I only ever got to around 40 ha

What you were talking about seems related to what in Roux is called "Influencing" which can occur after building 1st & 2nd blocks and also by choice of CMLL to.affect how the LL turns out for Last Six Edges; i.e., getting 2, 4, or 6 edges resolved as you go approach LSE to reduce the # of edges that one has to deal with

nah, its just coll really.

it's the same of cmll but you don't affect edges permutation.
