So I decided to make a progression thread, my goals right now are to be sub-25 on 3x3 and a sub eight average on Pyra.

This somewhat depends on the solver but I personally solve all my tips at the start and my grip holds both the centers which keeps the r and l tip in place and the rest of the tuns I use flicks that land well below the tip.

i think it's usually better to do a couple of tips at the start and a couple at the end, to spread them out, thats waht i do at least

I always learned that you have to plan the best moment to do each tip

Doing tips at the start and interlacing them throughout the solve have both gotten sub-2 averages so I think their equal, I do them at the start because I prefer recognising pieces with the tips solved. I decided to solve tips at the start from this video: (at timestamp 16:15)

These were the things that I did practicing Pyra today, I broke My Pb Ao5 lowering it to 5.976 (below my Mo3), I broke my Pb Ao12 lowering it to 6.675, I broke my Pb Ao100 lowering it to 8.667 (SUB 9!!) but the average raised above 9 seconds later in the day (I also broke A025 and Ao50 but I'm not tracing them in this thread), I learned down edge flipped L4E cases and intended to learn the other L4E algs soon. Also should I update the Pb's and methods in the first post to reflect how they are now or keep them to see how much I've improved since I've started the thread.

dang that ao5 had some nice scrambles, i got a 3.33 avg with them, (4.46), 2.91, 4.01, 2.96, (2.34)

Quick summary of things things I did today, I didn't do too many solves today but I did break my Pyra Mo3 somehow, most of the solves where below average though, I also trained the down edge flipped L4E cases and tomorrow I'll try to learn the top edge flipped cases, I also did a few 3x3 solves I was slightly below average probably because I was using my QiYi Warrior instead of my RS3 M 2020.

Thoughts: extremely happy with this sub-16 Pb but two of the F2L solutions could have been better I reconstructed what a better solution to one of the pairs could have been although I don't think I could have gotten Pb if I used that solution.
