I hate competing. (take it as a joke)

Don't go to comps looking for a record or a trophy. Go looking to interact with folks who won't laugh when you say, "I just did a sexy move to finish that off". Comp's are cool because you're surrounded by people who understand all of the puzzle stuff and enjoy it the same way you do. Who knows who you might meet or what new puzzles you might get to experience. Enjoy the experience.

i did it as a joke because i always fail in comp, but i always try to have a good attitude about it

i've been to fourteen of them, and I do enjoy the experience a lot.

listen to that post if you've never been to a comp

It could be worse than a +2.

In my last comp I didn't start the timer in my first solve.
That brought me so much out of concept that I got some more bad solves, a +2 because touching the cube too early and an almost DNF (1:10) because of failed (easy) PLL.

15 Minutes before competition I had a 22 Average while practising, in the real competition I ended up with a 45 Average o_O
I'm not fast but a 45 average never happend again after the first one or two month of cubing.

For 3x3 OH Round 1, on the first solve I accidentally stopped the timer at like 1.xx and DNF'ed, and on solve 4 I got a 34 with a 17 second cross.

For 3x3 Round 1, on the first solve I got an E perm, did it from the wrong angle, nearly messed up an H perm, and got a 10.9. On the second solve I did the same exact thing, but I DNF'ed by an M slice (time was 8.57, would have been PR). Third solve I got a 13 because the cube slipped out of my hand DURING the solve. and then i got a 9 on the last solve.

In 6x6, my centers took so long and my lookahead was garbage for the last 2 solves.
mainly because @tetraaa was the judge.

Did i mention I also have a record?
most unintentional misalignment +2's an single average of 5 - 5
