So I found this video on Youtube showing Yiheng likely stopping his timer early in 2x2.
Thoughts?

Also did you watch the video, the creator frame-counted the two solves with early stops.I do not see any pre-mature timer stops here.
This video was posted before his WR, and I'm going to say this again I'm sure the early stops were accidental.I can't believe people are this salty about a 7 year old destroying the WR and smashing their times. Grow up, people.
But still, this is just people trying to get attention. This video was posted before his WR, and I'm going to say this again I'm sure the early stops were accidental.

No one is actually doing this for attention, nor are most people salty/jealous of Yiheng.people are just jealous that's all. meanwhile, they're probably sitting at home, not counting their +2's.
He's 9.I can't believe people are this salty about a 7 year old destroying the WR and smashing their times. Grow up, people.
yeah i guess that's true, but the title of that video still sounds harsh imoI'm not doing this for attention, nor am I salty/jealous of Yiheng.
Already, multiple people I know (Antonio Kam, WRC Leader, and multiple WRC members) are working on this case.
They aren't doing this for attention, they're doing it because it's their job to investigate it, accidental or not.
You're the ones who need to grow up.
Okay, so the title of the video seems harsh. But was anything in the video untruthful? No.yeah i guess that's true, but the title of that video still sounds harsh imo
The framecounts in the video are incorrect.Okay, so the title of the video seems harsh. But was anything in the video untruthful? No.
They aren't.The framecounts in the video are incorrect.
Including pickup and stops: For the 0.99 solve, I counted 28 frames = 0.933s; for the 1.26, 37 frames = 1.233sThey aren't.
I'm not very confident with my frame-counting ability's but I counted more frames in the two solves than the video estimated plus usually the timer display is a few milliseconds behind the actual time but when he stops the timer it immediately stops instead of catching up.Including pickup and stops: For the 0.99 solve, I counted 28 frames = 0.933s; for the 1.26, 37 frames = 1.233s
I have a (unfortunate) considerable amount of experience with framecounting.
You are framecounting incorrectly, almost certainly. It's likely that your error is something like counting every single time you input "." which doesn't always update the frame on YT, for some reason. You have to count the frames.I'm not very confident with my frame-counting ability's but I counted more frames in the two solves than the video estimated plus usually the timer display is a few milliseconds behind the actual time but when he stops the timer it immediately stops instead of catching up.
When counting frames, for the 0.99 I counted 33 frames, and for the 1.26 I counted 39 frames. You are framecounting incorrectly, almost certainly.
