Some people were talking about Zayn Khanani being at the competition I was at. But it was my first competition and I was fairly new to speedcubing so I didn't know who he was. For some reason they said he was the previous wr holder

My first competition was okay. I did good for what I averaged at the time, but, that was it. I met no people, made no friends, and talked to no one but my dad and a judge or two.

My second competition (Western Championships) was actually really fun. I did great in most of my main events, I actually talked to people and made friends, and had an overall great experience.

I made a friend at my first comp. His name is Lucas, and the rest is history.

My fist time ever judging was for Juliette Sébastien in One Handed, where she is number 5 of the world.
She did a 8.x s Single and 10.x average. That was quite impressing 🤩

After that she judged my 2x2 and I messed it up 3 or 4 times in the same solve and ended with an almost 40 second solve for 2x2.
Good that the worst one doesn't count in AO5 😜

Both judging assignments were just random.
