How long will it take me to get sub 30?

I average around 1 min 10 seconds with beginner f2l and a very incomplete version of cfop ( the one where u make all the edges and corners in the correct place and then inserting the corners to complte last layer). i also started learning 2 look OLL and PLL 2 days ago, and i average 1 minute now. Do you think its possible that i can get sub 30? If so, how long will that take?

make your f2l pairs without thinking as much, and finish learning 4lll, and begin to turn faster. Then it will take 2 months probably

It took me 2ish months (last year) to get sub 40 (with 2hr of competitive practice daily) and breaking sub 30 took me another 2 months, but I was not cubing nearly as much with school (30 mins of casual solving a day during USHistory of course)
I had to learn f2l, 2 look oll and pll and some of the 21 plls. I also tried different versions of algs and switched my main algs around

Yes, it's so possible. I did it. What I did is learnt better f2l and T Y and J perms.

1-2 months (around 90 days if you do like, 50 solves a day)

It will vary depending on the person.

Learn intuitive F2L. It is not hard and will make the biggest difference in your times.

Do not get caught up learning OLL and PLL. 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL (5 algs at most) will be fine.

Timing each portion of your solve and drilling your weak points is a necessity if you want to progress quickly.

Untimed solves help a lot in getting you used to the patterns.

Id recommend anywhere from 20-60 solves/day. It is a bit of a grind honestly.

Good luck.

FWIW, it took me months to get sub-40.

I've been cubing 2 months now, and I'm almost sub-30 (I'm don't have an exact time frame but I only did begginers method (from jperm) for like the first week and then switched to intuitive F2L. Then I learned full PLL in about 2-3 weeks and now where I'm at I just practice every day at lunch. I work full time so I only do about 20 solves/day.
All in all I'd say 3 months, give or take. Contrary to what some people say, I recommend learning full PLL right off the bat, then you can get to know all the algs really well by the time you get sub-30.

I was on a Rubik's brand for 5 years from 2008-2013. It took me changing my cube to a Dayan Zhanchi in 2013 to get sub-30. In my case it was the cube and not the cuber.

In your case hardware is great, you just need to do a lot of solves and deliberate analysis.

I got sub-30 with the beginner's method F2L (corners then second layer edges), but that's definitely not the best choice; it was then very hard to switch to F2L.

don't know any oll algs at all? it's usually better to learn 4ll first before full PLL as the algs in 2 look pll are in 1 look anyway

Yes, I learned 4LLL and then full PLL.
So I still use 2-look OLL. Also, correcting my previous comment, I've been cubing 3.5 months and I got my first sub 30 Ao100 on Jan 10.
