Hello, I'm a new cuber from Lithuania. I use Cfop method and I am still learning the full oll and pll. my f2l sucks too so is cross, , but on the positive side I have high hopes on becoming a better cuber very soon.
I'm mainly do 3x3 and 2x2 rarely.
I use GAN356X v2.0 (3x3) ; GSC 2x2.
My avg. is 30 seconds. For me it's not bad (but from the other peoples perspective it is bad.)
I would love to get some tips that would help me to get better ❤️

Welcome! Definitely learn full PLL and work a lot on F2L (having efficient solutions, being able to do pairs blindfolded, not looking at the pair you're solving). Being able to always plan the whole cross in inspection is also important. Full OLL is not super important, but if you think you're going to learn it all eventually, then why not now?

Good luck on your cubing journey!

Hello friend! With no video I can not give good tips to you, but I think that at your skill you should work on solving cross with one look and learn full PLL before OLL. Also do not look at your F2L while solving it, it sounds like it is bad but it helps you look into the future in your solve!

Hi ToasterCubing! Hope you have a fun time on speedsolving.com! One mistake I find many cubers make is having sub-optimal f2l solutions and what helped me with that is cubeskills.com. Feliks Zemdegs has a bunch of f2l example solves that helped me greatly.

Wow, Feliks's dad responded to me. That's unreal to me. Linkėjimai iš Lietuvos!

Thank you for your advice! I will make sure to use that website.

Thank you very much. I'll keep that in mind

Welcome! Lithuania is a pretty cool country.
I would recommend focusing on F2l over Pll, because you can get fast with whatever pll you have right now, but F2L is really important as you have to understand how each case works before you can start turning up the speed for each case that you see.

Absolutely. I'd recommend getting to sub 25 with 4 look last layer. Then learn full PLL. F2l is very important and I got to ~20 with just doing sune's over and over for OLL.( Don't do that.🤣) Having solid f2l makes it way easier to get faster later on because you have good fundamentals to build on. But If you want to learn full PLL right now that's ok but really, don't learn full I'll now as that's making up for not so great f2l with more efficient last layer.
This is just my opinion and make sure to make your own decisions too.

I did a similar thing for OLL, I only knew sune and maybe one or two others, so all OLL's would be a lot of sune's.
