At this point he's just beating himself. He has no competition🐏
What are you talking about, he has tons of competition in OH. Patrick is also decent at OH CFOP, but the rouxers could easily take it. I would expect Fahmi to take the WR average in a competition or two, and I wouldn't be surprised if he took the single as well.

Very impressive how Max can squeeze out every ounce of speed from CFOP OH. If only he used Roux.
You know what max is like: same old same old, if he can’t flick a double move roux would not suit him, he doesn’t seem to change his solving style which frustrates me because ik he could be even better if he refined himself: all these U Us and D Ds and table abuse every 1.5 seconds:

All that aside it is still a great wr

you're telling the WR holder how to improve? lol

I'm going to assume this is an exaggeration but just in case someone takes literally what you are saying I would like to make a statement based on my uselessly extensive reading on various topics regarding cubing.

Max as we all know has Autism. This very much constrains many abilities many take for granted. His motor skills are not the greatest and while they are incredible compared to a younger Max, we can definitely see that they are lacking compared to other cubers at his level (which is very few lol).

That being said, his OH fingertricks aren't even that bad. I don't know of any world-class OH solver who uses CFOP and regularly implements Eido flicks. Using pinky for R/R' is a pretty challenging fingertrick that is tough to master. In fact, Jayden even has an entire video on Max using ring finger back in the day before Max switched to pinky, I was very surprised by this.

I think it's unfair that people complain about Max's fingertricks. Every cuber has their flaw. Max doesn't have the greatest fingertricks, Ruihang isn't the most efficient, Kyle likes getting bad PLL's, Patrick drops his cube too much, and so on.

So your "same old same old" is not only false but it is also inconsiderate of you. Maybe one day we'll see the day when Max U2's his Sunes and eventually never resorts to U U flicks but for now lets just cheer him on and congratulate him in his journey. Max is truly an amazing and awe-inspiring cuber.

Ok the u2 flicks was more about his 3x3 solves, as they are considerable more difficult in oh. I think that the best thing about max’s regular 3x3 solves is how he turns and never stops and, while Patrick uses the table less, he has become the best cfop oh solver (although max could get it back soon lol).
I just thought if he adapted his solves slightly he could be more of a god and I’m sorry if I upset anyone here

this prove that CFOP is the best and the fastest packing method, even for OH
I've said this again and again: just because someone broke a world record with a certain method doesn't mean that that's the best method. Roux is 100% going to break the OH records someday, and what are you going to say then? "Hey guys, I've changed my mind, Roux is much better than CFOP and will always be the best method for OH"
