Pog. I DNF'ed the 59 cus I learnt the second Jperm, but I didnt know how to recognise it.

So yeah, I'm currently learning ZZ.
Why? I did a ZZ example solve and it looked fun and boom, I wanna learn the full method. Also, 3x3 has been a bit boring.
It's been a long time since I learnt a new method (not counting Mehta, I only know the steps) and that was in 2019. So this time I wanna do it right.
First off, I wanna be able to plan out full EO (without planning the Line or cross) in inspection, then practice a lot and get good at detecting bad edges.
Then I wanna be able to plan out EOLine in inspection. And still practice a lot. I'm already decent enough at F2L so that's not gonna be a problem for me.
My goal for the end of the year is to be sub-14 with ZZ (meaning a sub-14 ao200). I'll still be using 2LLL tho, cus I'm genuinely so scared of learning ZBLL. When I hit the goal, then I'll proceed to learn one of the variants.

I would learn COLL, if you can execute and/or predict the PLL during COLL, it can be quick.

Just doing basic eocross OCLL PLL can take you sub8 to sub7. Also ZBLL really isn’t that bad. Just learn good algs and about the different way to recognize it before starting and learning with weird recog.

Guys, if he does switch, that's a good thing!

honestly i am also learning ZZ, but I am scared I might end up liking it and then everyone will call me non CFOP user which I don't think I will like and idk what potential ZZ has so i can't make a decision on should I learn it or not

but no current wr is with zz, and I wanted to break nr average. also I see people have quite a hard time getting sub-7 with zz, so I don't really know
but the real reason I was learning ZZ was for EO which I want to learn for FMC, so yes I will learn ZZ, its just that I haven't decided if I will use it for speedsolving
