Hi! my name is Emma! I'm a 14 year old girl who loves cubing! I participate in the weekly competitions on this site as well as CubingTime and cubers.io. I'd like a cubing friend about my age who I can talk cubing with and compete against. I average about 40-50 seconds on 3x3 using Petrus and I'm sub 10 on 2x2.

You can try looking for a cubing buddy in this thread, and you can check this out if you want to check out another Petrus user's progress, although it doesn't look super active atm.

Cool another person not using CFOP. I use Petrus because of my ADHD, it’s hard to memorize lots of algs and cases so I like Petrus because it’s more intuitive. What method do you use?

I use the ZZ method - I switched from CFOP in early 2016. There are a bunch of different variants, some with less than 30 algorithms and some with over 500.

Hello, welcome to the forums! 5+ minutes for 3-BLD, I see. Race to sub-1? I am at sub-4 for that event, except I use M2 edges/Old Pochman corners.

Well, you could always take the time to learn more methods and learn 552 letter pairs to make memo easier.

I’m thinking about learning M2 when I get more bld practice
