The YouTuber SpeedCubeReview was dismissing the Valk 3 Elite M as nothing but a copy of what people like him had done for years. I pointed out that QiYi actually changed the design to mitigate an issue with the Elite Mod that he had not addressed in his video. He deleted my comment.
Another viewer had previously asked him about the same issue, but SpeedCubeReview just insisted that there was no problem. The viewer tried to explain that SCR had overlooked something that could ruin his viewer's cubes, but SpeedCubeReview never replied.
When I tried to post a top-level comment, informing other YouTube users that the explanation in the video may ruin their cubes, and linked to my own documentation (on this forum) that explains the issue, that comment was also deleted. I could put that removal down to preventing self-promotion, but with everything else, that interpretation is generous.
He did reply to me once, just to say that he had made over a thousand YouTube videos, so it was silly of me to assume that he would ever mess up a mod, but he removed that comment himself, which he deserves credit for, so I'm happy to let that go.
The only important point is the unwillingness to permit criticism, and how that negatively impacts the community. This is not a serious issue (nobody is gonna get hurt), but it did bother me, and I was hoping @SpeedCubeReview would be willing to discuss it here.
