dirty rubiks cube

i left my diy rubiks cube inside my car on the floor i came back and it was really stiff i think dirt got into it took it apart but its still as stiff.what should i do.

I was thinking wash it with out the caps on so stickers not wet would it affect it.

dissassemble is completely wash each indivisual piece and then re-lube it (thats what I did when dirt got into it and it worked fine) that took me about 40 minutes, I used wipes and then soaked them all in warm water

I've washed mine and didn't have any problems. Water didn't make the stickers come off or anything. You might want to use a blow-drier to get it dry afterwards.

well you said think, so im not really sure how to help you if you arnt sure yourself. but if it is dirty and you wana clean it by "washing it" but what i normaly do is clean my cubes out by wipeing the cubies with q-tips makeing sure to clean as much as i can then i lube (then depending on the lube i might wait for it to evaporate) and reasemble
