I'm 6'3" and have quite large hands. My fingers are probably as long as someone who is 6'6". Has anyone else found it difficult to average 3x3 below 11-12 with a similar build? It seems like I'm stuck at a barrier here and need some hope. Just got back into cubing again after 6-7 years.
For example doing U2, my top knuckle of my fingers are the ones flicking the top layer. I can't press with my tips because it's slower and awkward. Even holding the cube with my ring finger has it all bent up and weird looking. Looking for some tricks and hope out here my fellas.

Personally I have slightly larger than average hands, so I have found I prefer larger cubes. I don't know what the most modern larger cube(ie 57mm) most cubes these days are less than 56 which I don't appreciate, but I understand that they are catering to younger cubers. I would prefer there to be some 57mm cube released. Also,if youwant there is the 60mm qiyi warrior W. It's kinda a meme, but you could try it out and it's cheap but non magnetic

for lot of people, 12 averages are hard to come past, so I think a lot of it is about overcoming the barrier, but if you feel that your hands are definitely holding you back, ignore me

You will probably be fine with big sail, and you could get into modding to make it better. Adding magnets nowadays is a thing of the past, but you could do it.

Using cubes with a "sharper" corner will make it feel like a bigger cube. Gan cubes tend to already have a decently sharp corner, but something like the guhong v4 is sharper feeling from my experience.

Magnetizing is a very fun mod to do and could really help cubes that are unstable and don't have magnets like the Yuxin little magic for example.

I have really small hands for my age, but my fingers are surprisingly long, so it negates it. Sometime when solving bigger cubes it helps a lot because I can reach behind the cube to stabilise it.
