CFOP, ZZ or Mehta

Which method

I don't consider ZZ with EOCross to be its own method. If you use ZZ with EOCross, ur basically using a variation of CFOP. So ultimately, ZZ should only be on the list if u use it traditionally with EOLine and blockbuilding.
same bro, i dont consider CFOP to be a method of its own either. I believe it's just a little more efficient beginner's method (layer by layer) and should not be called its own method. Rather, i'd like to refer to CFOP as an efficient LBL.

Everything is LBL. CFOP is efficient LBL, Roux is odd LBL, Petrus is LBL with free F2L and so on....

Ok so I've read through all the posts and I'm going to switch to zz but use yau+cfop for big cubes. I'm starting to learn coll and getting better at my eocross. As Waffles said roux doesn't really suit me mainly because of the blockbuilding.
cool!! We have another ZZer here!! I'd recommend learning only the best COLL cases and not all of them. Do learn all of the recognition though since it helps with ZBLL

A word of advice, don't actively use COLL in solves.

Sincerely, someone who actively uses COLL in solves

python seems to like mehta (first try)

CFOP is the clear best method, sometimes people just get bored of it, feeling like they aren't improving fast enough and see more potential in another method. However, little do they know, a few months after using that new method, once again they get bored of it. It's just best to stick with what you already know. I recommend CFOP because it has the largest community, therefore more resources and tips for you to improve. Mehta OS does not have as much potential as CFOP, and Mehta, having three algorithmic steps has really annoying recognition.

I burned out with CFOP because it was boring. I've been using ZZ for over a year and am going strong. I know people that have been using Roux and ZZ for over a year, or for multiple years, who do not get bored and swap.

Someone getting bored of CFOP doesn't mean they'll get bored of every method, it means they don't find CFOP to be entertaining

And how exactly does it have annoying recognition? Can you also tell us why Mehta OS doesn't have much potential? CFOP is clearly not the "clear best method" if a lot of people are switching from it. Why hasn't Sean Patrick Villanueva switched? It's because there isn't a such thing as a clear best method. Other methods do have as much or more potential as CFOP. Can you list some way's the Fridrich methods blows the others away to make it clearly the best? I'm wondering if you read an of the previous posts. The "little do they know..." part isn't rue either. Do you think Cubing Forever is bored of Mehta? If you are bored of all the methods than there is no point in doing 3x3. It is not best to stick with what you know. Do you think Christopher Columbus would have discovered America if he didn't wonder out of his comfort zone? Almost no (none that I know of) discoveries or inventions would be possible if people "stuck with what they had". Who cares if CFOP has more resources and a larger community. You need different points of view and again you MUST wonder out of your comfort zone to make a difference. Less resources means you have a chance to discover something yourself. Less people means you can prove it's potential and experiment on your own.

I'm going to eventually switch from CFOP to either Mehta or Roux because CFOP is 1. boring 2. To many people us it. 3.High move count. 4. It's getting to the point where it's at it's limit and can not be improved anymore.

Thank you every one for attending my speech.

I apologise for posting twice without any real reason but I'd like to add into the message that there is no clear best. People like Fahmi Rachman (Roux) , Sean Villanueva (Roux) and John Smith (ZZ) would heavily object.

The difference between the methods on a theoretical level is so small that it is negated by the human brain. We as humans all function differently and perceive information differently. Thus we perceive the cube differently. I believe different methods will be better for different people because they will better suit how that person perceives the cube.

Oh yeah?? Then how is RadMac sub 7 with ZZ? Also how is Fahmi SUB 10 OH with Roux??(afaik no CFOPer is sub 10 OH)

You're clearly wrong because recog isn't annoying and I can one look 2 of those 3 steps almost consistently thanks to prediction(will make either a vid or post on it soon).

pls don't be a cfopbot#1234 and try other methods before commenting on them lmao. CFOP is just boring and it sucks

(yea I was a bit harsh sorry)
