40 seconds is pretty good for only cubing for 3 months. I think I was only around 1 minute after I’d been cubing for 3 months.Hi. Mine around 40 seconds. I know it is not great but I am learning.

Welcome! I would recommend not telling strangers on the internet your age!
It's just a generally accepted safety practice type of thing, especially for those who are really young.I don't want to sound rude, but can you please explain why?
I am not speaking against you or challenging you, I am curious to learn why is it not recommended not to declare your age.
Cubing competitions are a great way to meet with other cubers.Hi, is there any local Rubik’s cube group which I can join and play with so that I can learn from others. Thanks!
As things stand, there likely won't be many in person cubing events going on here in the USA for a whileSorry, how should I go to cubing completion? Any local completion that is happening in New Jersey. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
Can't agree more. I'm lucky enough to be in Australia where we are getting comps fairly frequently now and it's been a great way for me to meet other cubers and feel part of the community.Nowadays it's tricky to find in-person events because of COVID, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of WCA competitions in New Jersey as soon as it's safe. I know the thought of a competition might be intimidating for a new cuber, but I'd recommend checking out Chris Olson's video about it if you haven't:
I can't speak highly enough about how amazing competitions are! It's such a great way to get to know other cubers.![]()
