This thread can use Squall, ECP, Utah, or Atropos. I don't know if eventually this will become a thread for just one of those methods, but for now that's where it's at. I just don't want the methods to fade away like they did in the first comp. They weren't bad methods, they just didn't have a real platform.

NEXT SCRAMBLE: L2 B2 U B2 L2 D2 L2 D' B2 R2 U L' B2 L2 D' F' U' B' L' B' U

42 HTM Squall (kind of)

y' z2 F D' F2 D L' D2 L R2 F L' //EOsquare+DBedge(10/10)
R' D R D' //L Pair (4/14)
//AMAZING DF and B Pair skip
U' R U R' U R U' R' //F Pair (8/22)
r' F R F' r U R' U //CDRLL (8/30)
R U R' U R' U' R' U' R2 U2 R U //L5EP (12/42)

So when I started the solve, I solved a 2x2x2 block instead of a square, with no idea I was doing it wrong. This variation turned out very well, with 2 steps skipped. Beginners luck :)

Utah is a neat method, It's pretty interesting that EO is done during belt though, I'd bet that a variation where EO is done during Utah would be slightly more efficient. If no one has a name for that I'd like to call it Provo Variation). I didn't look very thoroughly through the original competition thread, so let me know if this variation has a name yet.
