I remember hearing about that somewhere, but I don’t remember where. It definitely happened.
I sort of understand how the G perms work now. Now the only PLL where I don't understand why any of the standard algs work is V perm.

Oh nice, so basically all of them was commutator with conjugate right? Thanks for the explanation.
Just realized that the Gc perm is a 1-move setup to a commutator: R2 u' R U' R U R' u R2 f R' f' = [f: [f' R2 u' R U', R]]. It can also be written as a commutator without setups: [R2 u' R U' f', f R f']. I have no idea why this commutator solves a Gc perm. Can someone explain?

For most of them, I used the algs on devagio.github.io/YruRU
I didn't like a few of them so I genned alts, which can be found on page 14 of the YruRU thread
Found an alg that affects 2 dedges and fixes OLL parity: Uw2 R2 Uw' m2 Uw' m2 Uw' 3Rw2 Uw2. Not sure how useful it is though.
