Hello,
My name is Aritro Ghosh, and I am from India. I am 15 years old.

As you guess from my name, my favourite PLL is A perm. But its actually the Aa Perm. I don't like the Ab Perm a lot. Despite this, my fastest PLLs are U perms.

I love 3x3 a lot. A few days ago, I got my first magnetic 3x3 cube. Since I have always practiced on non-magnetic cubes, it was damn fast for me to handle, and I messed up a lot. But I am slowly getting better. Another event I like is the 3x3 blind, but I am pretty slow at memorizing the cube, I use Old Pochman Method for Corners and M2 Method for Edges for my execution.

I would really appreciate it if someone will give me some tips on how to learn full ZBLL, and also if its worth learning it. I am really struggling to learn it.

So, that's it. Hope you all are fine. Have a nice day ahead and good luck on beating your PBs.

Welcome :)

How fast are you? Generally ZBLL is not worth it especially if you use CFOP, but I don’t really know, not having the willpower to finish ZBLL myself... But you can try. Try watching some videos of people who give tips on learning it, like Tao Yu

Ya, I know I am very slow to start learning ZBLL, my average is about 31 seconds. But I believe that there's no harm in learning new algorithms no matter what your speed is. I think it will ultimately benefit me in getting faster at a more advanced level.

Hello and welcome to the forums! At 31s average I'm confident ZBLL is NOT the best use of your practice time. That said I'm a proponent of learning what you want when you want because after all, we do this for personal enjoyment so work on whatever makes you happy. Just know that drilling some fundamentals to get down to the 15-20s average is a more useful and practical use of your practice sessions at your current average...and ZBLL is definitely not necessary to cut your current average in half.

Cheers and happy cubing!
