What if your blindfold falls off at some point?

Use eyelids. If those fall off though, you have a big problem.

Yeah I thought briefly about that, and if I was even willing to sacrifice one of my blindfolds for that. I mean I could just hold the cube above my head with eyes closed (still underwater)

What portions of the solve would you do underwater? Full solve or just execution? Maybe even just memo?
Also, has anyone done square-1 underwater? I have a stripped Qiyi that I'm willing to sacrifice

I imagine full solve, although it could be like where he puts on the blindfold he also has to go underwater
I don't believe so, nothing came up on YouTube

Full solve including memo could be a neat trick. Seems reasonable for the speedy BLD guys out there.

PB is 1:59. In terms of accuracy it could take over 10 tries, also someone would need to hand me the 2nd cube as it will float around while I exec cube 1.
I'm guessing holding breath while doing 2 cube multi will help make underwater easier, and I could do it sub 3? Surely with a few days/weeks practice I could hold my breath for 3 minutes.

I remember having contests as a kid by sinking to the bottom of the pool and seeing who could sit there the longest-next underwater solve may have to be “Sitting crosslegged at the bottom of the pool underwater solve”.
A bit more interesting than the typical flailing like a broken fish underwater solve.
