Whats your guys take on using nail polish to help maintain the stickers? I've seen alot of people saying that it helps but does it really help THAT much? (meaning it can help preserve stickers for more than a few months). And my dad says I should use those clear sprays that people use to varnish plastic furniture but I'm a little hesitant to use those mainly because it gets all over my cube and might slow it down.

Nail polish works, but it is not very likely to last for more than a few months if you cube daily.

You shouldn't spray something that is sticky on an entire face of the cube because it will get between the pieces and into the core.

Why not use 6 different colors of nailpolish (with stickers) and apply it to each cubie individually?

Buying 6 colors of nail polish is going to cost quite a bit more than the cube itself probably. I'm planning to get just the clear type. And few more questions. Will the nail polish create an uneven bump in the face of the cube once it dries? and where would be the optimal place to put the nail polish so that it has maximum effect (corners of the stickers, all sides etc..) thanks

for the stickers on my first cube i used clear nail polish, and it helped a bit, though it didn't last incredibly long. I would suggest putting it over the entire sticker. If you apply it slowly and spread it out, it shouldn't form any bumps when dried.

Instead just buy Cubesmith stickers ! ;)
