Nah, I use Petrus which orients edges during F2L. So I only need 7 OLLs. Also, I use COLL/EPLL instead of OLL/PLL. Plus, you can edit your posts, instead of double posting

why do you prefer it over roux or cfop as they are generally considered faster

I just find the (mostly) blockbuilding aspect of Petrus to be more fun than, say, CFOP F2L pairs, and also, I wanted to do something that not a lot of people had done before, so I went with Petrus. My ultimate goal is sub 8 with it .

Hmm, about 8 months. Idk what my TPS is during solves, but I’d guess 3.2 (movecount 55, average 17). Obviously, I would be way faster during LL, then, say 2x2x3.

Welcome ! You forgot to mention ZZ which is also in the big three (and which I use).
EDIT : Oh yeah I'f from Canada. Actually, a lot of people here aren't from the US.
