He means solving blindfolded for speed :p

He demolished AfR 3BLD and 4BLD single at his first comp recently.
Dude he freaking wrecked my chances of getting it LOL! I broke South African NR for 4bld with a sad 10:45 the weekend before that, thought next comp I could get a 5 since I avg like 7 at home. Lol 3 I'm screwed.

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multi stage...
Ohhh.. So how do you remain nemesis free?
The best way to do it is to be good at a few different events that not many people are good at. So for you, you have 3 and 4 bld that you have good official results in, but you will be nemesized by people who are better than you in those events and also all of the others that you competed in. Because of this, you might want to get good at megaminx, or square 1, because the overlap between people who are good at 3BLD and megaminx is probably very low.

The other option is to just get good at clock.

Édit: the way to check is here: http://www.nemesizer.com/ . Just type in your name or WCAID and you should find your name along with how many nemeses you have and who they are. You currently have 21 nemeses.

Hey, wow, thanks to their adding 4BLD & 5BLD means as official, I'm back to just a single nemesis (Cale Schoon)! I'm shocked that I have just one!

Anyway, that might be the "easiest" way right now to get down to a small number of nemeses - get 4BLD and/or 5BLD means of 3.

You break a world record and make sure nobody beats it.
Well, you're correct, that is sufficient. But it's not necessary. There are plenty of people with no nemeses who have never had a world record. There are 321 people with no nemeses, and only 35 world records. It might be easier than holding a world record to remain nemesis-free by getting really good at two very different events (but not hold the world record at either) and staying really good at both of them.
