Guys, I think the scramble should be checked again... since he got it for the 2nd try and no one else got good results, even if you are counting +2 for all of them

It wasn’t a miss scramble but the solve is definitely considered suspicious by a lot of people, because the TPS required to pull off a solve like that is ridiculous. Many fast Pyraminx solvers tried the scramble themselves and many got around the high 1s as their best, the fastest out there being a 1.42.
Maybe he accidentally stopped the timer early, we don’t know.

So my question then remains will be there any investigation after all, or it will stay as it is now... cuz then it wont be so fair with other fast pyraminx solvers, not mentioning myself since I am no longer considered as fast.

I think only the solve should be DNF-ed you are right... and have to find the judge... if the fastest pyraminx solvers cant get a low 1 on a solve how should he got the sub1....

He could have gotten the pyraminx solved then did the pick up and put down thing and the judge still wrote down the time. This has happened to me before (granted I did a couple of turns on it which may have thrown my judge off) but I had him cross it out.

I agree with FastCubeMaster. It is a nice and fast solution, however the tps required to pull off a sub 1 is insane, almost suspicious.

A week later, he sent somebody a video of him trying the solution to the scramble. The stackmat said 1.18, but people frame counted and got 1.5x... Also a possible misscramble was found. Switch one of the first Us with a U' and you have a 5 move body, which is still pretty crazy but at least it's believable.

yeah my friend elijah brown whos 23 in the world for pyra averege tried the scramble and with the tips its not possible to solve it that quikly

Debatable. There is still some hope that this will be dnfed, but with the wca who knows. Some of us still have hope that vladislavs fmc single will finally be dnfed. Who knows.
