Can someone PLEASE help me with corners first? There's not much online about it. I did look at rubikscube.info but once I get to step five I can't get it. So please give me a link to a good, non-video wesite telling me how to do the method, tell me what I'm doing wrong, or be so kind as to explain it to me themselves.

So please [...] tell me what I'm doing wrong
We're supposed to read minds now?

Is that a problem?

One thing he is doing wrong is that he uses a method he doesn't understand.
Another thing he is doing wrong is he asks questions without giving much information

So far is mind is quite easy to read:p

The way to solve the first seven edges in the beginners' method of rubikscube.info is actually poorly explained; this step is very intuitive and should not be viewed as a set of algs to learn. The basic ideas are:
- If the edge you're trying to solve is located on the middle layer, assuming its slot is on the top (if not, do the appropriate L or R move), do U or U' (depending on the orientation of the edge) to put the slot on the middle layer, then the appropriate M move to put the edge in the slot and U' or U back.
- If the edge is in a wrong slot, or in its slot but flipped, first put it on the middle layer by proceeding as above and then solve it.
- In borh cases, you must have a still unsolved slot facing the slot you're trying to solve. That's why you solve only three L edges in step 4: to keep an unsolved slot on the L layer and keep it in LU position while solving the R edges.

Hey, can you solve the cube at all? (no offense) cuz, if not, you might want to try an easier method first. Link if interested.

minsarker, if you were referring to me, (which you most likely were) then I wanted to get him a good one, like the one on Macky's site. Not just some random one (no offense). So that's why. Plus, there's not need to waste my time if he doesn't need it.

Not trying to start an argument, just sayin'.

minsarker, if you were referring to me, (which you most likely were)

He was not referring to you at any point.

well to me, '10 seconds of research' combined with the fact that he suggests a beginner's method, to me, suggest that I'm being lazy, and he is, in fact referring to me.
But that's just me. :)

*insert awkward-silence breaking lol here*

Uh... he gave a link to a corners first method because thats exactly what this person was asking for. He said '10 seconds of research' hinting that this is a completely useless thread because the person who started it could have found what they needed in 10 seconds on their own without having to ask anybody. Get it now?

Thank you Ellis for understanding

If I was referring to someone I would have quoted that person, me not quoting is hint enough that it was directed to the original poster.

The original poster said he/she could not find anything online, I said I found one in 10 seconds. He/She said it is very confusing and difficult, I said they are probably just lazy.
