I'm nearly sub 30. How do I make that constant?

How I love giving non white xcrosses to white cross solvers

Faz did a white-cross-only example solve video once, on the last scramble there was a 2-move green cross and he goes "hmmm...I know I SAID white cross, but we're going to do green because this is just too good...be color-neutral, everyone". I thought it was pretty funny :p

I would recommend just learning white and yellow cross till you average about 15. That's what I did, and I didn't have too many problems.
That makes no sense. Switching gets harder the later you do it. If you plan on going color neutral, now is the best time. Whether you average 15 seconds or 3 Minutes.

Oh my. Many people seem to disagree~
Look. Lookahead is important. It's definitely necessary for reaching sub 15 or less. But sub 30?
No. TPS is really hard to work on because it's so hard to find a consistent turning style. Look ahead is not. All you need to do is find ways to practice.
What you need to get good and how to practice improving at it:
Algs:
Get on an alg website and go ham.
TPS:
Adapt to a fast one early on, and don't worry about it later.
OR
Get to sub-15 and realize that you've been depending on a low TPS for lookahead (not taking shots btw)
Work for days to weeks to months getting used to lookahead without a lower TPS.
Lookahead:
Consciously watch where your pieces move while you do F2L. (and yes, you can do this with a high TPS)

Not really at a 30 average. TPS matters much more at 30. I barely practiced lookahead until I became sub 20. It helps a lot more to get used to turning quickly.
I've actually noticed when I went through timing all my PLL's that my TPS is pretty slow so thats what I'm actually trying to work on. Have you got any good tips to work on TPS because I use Feliks' fingertricks on my PLLs so I don't really think its all my finger tricks. Any exercises or just general tips?

Well, my suggestion is to drill all of your algs. Constantly practice executing them.
