Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who commented on my last thread about getting sub 30. This has obviously helped me a great deal as I am now asking how to become sub 20 and would love to hear your tips and tricks!
So my current PB is 18.77 but before that my PB was 21 (which I have gotten a few times). I'm a confident white yellow cross solver and am still working on being color neutral. I recently did an average of 25 (not a great average for me) and the end mean was 28.99. I recorded each section of CFOP with Cstimer but did forget to press the button sometimes, so these statistics are not 100% accurate. Cross: 4.20. F2L: 15.87. OLL: 4.21. PLL. 4.68. I can see a few flaws with these statistics and what I need to work on but don’t always know how to go about it. But, as I am not to advanced, I would like to know if any one of these statistics stand out to you as ‘bad’ and how I should go about improving.
I know I’m not very good at look ahead or predicting cases, but I have heard a few people saying don’t learn it until you’re 16-17 seconds as, if you do it any earlier than that stage, you will rely on your slow TPS and more time to predict your cases. If this is true is there any more simplistic versions of look ahead so I can get my F2L a bit smoother. Another problem I know I have is my TPS. This is most noticeable in my PLLs where it is taking me nearly 5 seconds to recognize and execute an algorithm I already know. Are there any efficient ways to improve my TPS?
Thanks in advance for your help and for reading!
