First impressions:
It was very tight out of the box, and the megaminx was slow and hard to turn. Loosening the tensions solved these problems and the megaminx is now fast and cornercuts well. It has a unique feel when holding it in the hands, because it has convex surfaces that are not present on the Galaxy and the Yuxin. The megaminx is a little unstable and floppy compared to the Galaxy, but I'm sure once it is fully set up and magnetized it will be fine. Speaking of magnets, it is possible to put magnets in the corners, so the magnetizing process will likely be easier than on the Galaxy. I will post another video once I am ready to give my final verdict on the megaminx, so feel free to check out my channel.

What size and shape of magnets can you put in the corners? 3x1.5? 4x1? 4x2? 5x1? 6x1?
What about the edges? How are they for fitting magnets?
Any idea the thickness of the plastic? (i.e. how far apart would a magnet in the edge and a magnet in the corner be?)
I could get excited about megaminx again! This is awesome!

I used 3x1 n35 for the corners and two on them each for the edges, simply because I was able to buy a lot of 3x1 n35s for a cheap price. I have put up a solve video and a review in the puzzle reviews section, so feel free to check them out!
