As a question to the community. Do most good 2x2er’s use the 50mm version? Is the 42mm OP Dayan a very good main cube?

I would guess that it is a typo.

no, its too small, also the 46 mm ones aren't that rare and some cube shops still sell the old plastic versions (46 mm) if you just ask.
