Lubing and cleaning (New cuber)

Hi ^-^

I started cubing roughly 5 weeks ago and I literally just signed up a few minutes ago, so I guess I'm "New to the community".
I have a PB of 42.45 on a 3x3 Weilong GTS2
I currently only know the 3x3

anyway, straight to the point...

I'm planning on getting some GAN standard lube, cause my current maru lube sucks.

Would you have to take apart and clean the cube before relubing it? Or is it fine to just lube it again?

PS. I suck at taking apart stuff and disassembly.

Is the cube dirty? Is there a lot of lube built up inside? Then you might want to take it apart and clean it. If it's not, try putting a few drops of lube in, and if the lube doesn't do what you hope it does then try disassembling the cube and wiping out the old lube. Then put new lube in.

How you want the cube to feel. If you want to "combine" the feelings of the lubes you just put it in but if you only want the affect of one lube, clean it.
With light lubes like maru and gan lube I don't think it matters too much, with heavier lubes (30k+) you want to clean it.

Don't get gan standard lube get silicone oil (cubicle.us, speedcubeshop, speedcube.com.au, Ukcubes) and use that in small quantities
