E-Perm

I've Just started pll and the E-perm shows up a lot in my solves. I tried doing the E-Perm many times but I end up with A weird cube with the white side and yellow side orientated, but the corners are all moved in an X shape. Any ways to avoid this?

Well your description is a little confusing, but it sounds like you need to do a U move prior to doing your E perm. That should solve your problem.

So do you end up with an H-perm?

If so just do a U or U' before executing.
