Help please?

I've been noticing that my times compared to the people who are on the fourm are about twice as much as their averages (~1m 5sec)
I'll give a walk through of my method... Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

1) solve cross (simple no?)
2) solve top corners (I've tried combining the top corners with the completion of 2L, and it might be my largest fault...)
3) position bottom corners
4) rotate bottom corners
5) move around the bottom middles

Using this method my PB is ~57s
Is there any hope for my method or do I have to completely change it?

You should try doing the cross on the bottom. Then do the bottom corners, and keep going iwith the cube fipped. And if you don't get faster right away, don't worry, you will get faster with practice.
