Weilong GTS2 core strip

The core has stripped twice on me already, even after getting a new core. It strips resulting in a loose tension and even if I tighten the tension, it is the same loosness. Any way to fix this?

That's highly unusual... how rough is your turning? Another question, what brand is the replacement core? If the GTS2's screws are a little on the skinny side, then the holes on a generic core could be too large to grab the threads adequately.

The original core and replacement is the exact same, I took it from the MF3RS which has the same core. I've only had the cube for 3 days. Any solution?
