Lousy Turning

I use a Yulong and average 23-25s. My problem is that my turning is really lousy. My fingers keep getting off the cube, I can't hold it properly while doing algorithms, and I can't even imagine using a faster cube, even though I really need it. Its not overshooting, not turning accuracy, I just can't hold the cube. Any tips?

If you could post a video of your turning style, that would definitely help.

Generally though, since many CFOP algs use mostly R U and F moves, it's a good idea to hold the cube such that your left thumb and left middle finger grip the F and B centers and sort of hold the bottom left 2x2x3 block in place, since it won't be broken up much. The right hand generally does most of the turning, while the left hand usually holds the cube in place (at least from my experience).

If it's your fingers slipping off of the cube because they're too dry, then what I do is moisten them with lotion or by washing my hands.

The cube is just jumping in my hands sometimes like maybe when doing an oll it'll slip out of my hand and i ll have to regrip it

I would suggest slow down your turning a bit, assuming your turning is a bit choppy in F2L, cstimer has a metronome feature which really helps improve look ahead and constant turning.

If you find yourself turning to harshly to get it to move you should loosen it. I would also try rotating less because each rotation is an opportunity to drop the cube.

Dude from watching the vid I recommend taking it slow ur shaking too much so to stop it do warmup solves and go faster each time

Its not EXACTLY shaking, but the 'slipperiness' is more apparent when I try to so OH solves.
