Hello everyone! I got my first Rubik's brand cube when I was ten but didn't start speedsolving until last year. I know full pll and oll and average about 20 seconds on 3x3 using CFOP (not Hawaiian Kociemba). I also have a Square-1 that I am trying to figure out how to solve without looking at tutorials.

Haven't been to a competition yet, seeing as I am literally thousands of miles away from any other cubers, but one of these days I'm sure I'll go to one.

Have you tried methods other than CFOP? You may find them a bit more to your taste.

Haha, no. I use a stickerless Yuexiao now. It was actually the forums here that convinced me to buy my Yuexiao so I actually dropped about 5 seconds when I switched from my old Rubik's speed cube.

I actually use the same cube. I'm curious, how do you lube it?

After taking it apart and cleaning it I put a few drops of Cubicle weight 2 on opposite corners of the top and bottom layers. I do it this way because it's fast and seems to get the job done.
